Shaping a Sustainable Future for Pharmaceuticals

Join us for the Nancy 2025 Sustainable Pharmaceutical Industry Symposium, a pivotal event shaping the future of responsible healthcare.

As the pharmaceutical industry faces increasing challenges in environmental impact, social equity, and operational resilience, this symposium offers a vital platform for collaboration and innovation. Under the unifying theme of sustainability, our program is built around the three essential pillars of development: People, Process, and Planet.

Through expert panels, real-world case studies, and hands-on workshops, we’ll explore how the industry can:

  • Prioritise wellbeing, equitable access to medicines, and community engagement, placing people at the heart of business strategy;
  • Drive sustainable process innovation, from green chemistry and resource-efficient manufacturing to ethical supply chains and circular economy models;
  • Reduce environmental footprints, manage climate risks, and support biodiversity and global emissions goals.

Whether you’re an industrial leader, scientist, sustainability officer, or policymaker, this is your opportunity to shape a resilient, regenerative, and future-ready pharmaceutical industry.

Be part of the change. Redefine the future of healthcare for People, Process, and Planet.

Synopsis

The pharmaceutical industry plays a vital role in global health, but its environmental impact from high energy consumption and water use to chemical waste and carbon emissions demands urgent action. This conference will bring together industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, and sustainability experts to explore innovative strategies for making pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, and distribution more sustainable. Key topics include green chemistry in drug synthesis, reducing pharmaceutical pollution, circular economy approaches, sustainable packaging, and regulatory frameworks supporting eco-friendly practices. Attendees will gain insights into emerging technologies, best practices, and collaborative initiatives driving the industrial shift toward sustainability. Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and case studies, the conference will foster dialogue and partnerships aimed at balancing public health needs with environmental responsibility. This event is essential for professionals committed to shaping a more sustainable pharmaceutical industry and ensuring a healthier planet for future generations.
